Susan K. Still President & Chief Executive Officer

From the time that Susan Still began her career, she has been dedicated to her career and community. Not planning to become a banker after graduating with an Accounting degree from Virginia Tech, she began her career as a Teller at a bank in Florida, spawning the start of more than 40 years in the banking industry. A southwest Virginia native, she came to Roanoke over thirty years ago and has been making an impact in our area ever since.

Ms. Susan Still has been with HomeTown Bank from the very beginning. Starting in 2005 as the Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, it was quickly evident that Still’s 30 years of banking experience would bring great change to the community banking scene in Roanoke. In 2008, she was named President and CEO, overseeing operations for the bank across the Roanoke Valley, New River Valley, and Smith Mountain lake footprint. Today, she makes a local, regional, and national impact through her board service on state and local organizations that support banking, business, and education throughout our region. In 2016, she was honored to be appointed to the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. And if that’s not enough to keep her busy, she’s also an active board member with the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Foundation for Roanoke Valley and a trustee on the board of the North Cross School.

Wes has 30 years in the commercial banking industry in leadership roles with Wachovia Bank, Central Carolina Bank, SunTrust Bank, and NewBridge Bank. With his vast experience at various banks and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Wes looks forward to working alongside HomeTown Bank's leadership team to have direct interactions and a greater impact on the local business landscape.
